Countering Doping in Sports in The Practice of a Doctor: Directions, Problems, Solutions

Abstract
Purpos of the study: to improve educational and information work on anti-doping issues.
Materials and methods: a survey of 103 sports doctors of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Federal State Budgetary Institution Federal Scientific and Clinical Center for Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency was conducted in 2022.
Results: the research conducted indicates a number of positive trends in the processes being studied, but at the same time confirms the need to continue continuous work to improve the level of knowledge of doctors in matters of anti-doping in sports. The priority areas of this work include educational activities to develop the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to file requests for TUEs, counseling and outreach on the use and possible risks of using nutritional supplements in athletes.
