Abstract
The article discusses the possibilities and prospects for the use of digital communication technologies in the educational process.
The possibilities of podcasting as a tool for professional communication and the formation of familiarity with authors’ professional competencies are described. Also discussed the usage of videohosting to create and distribute educational materials for professionals. The possibilities of using special software for digital online education are described
